In Jody Lee Lipes' new documentary, dance fans can get a glimpse into the highly guarded world of professional ballet. The film is an intimate, fly-on-the-wall documentary offering a rare peek into New York City Ballet’s inner workings.

New York City Ballet boasts a roster of more than 90 dancers and a repertory of works by many of the greatest choreographers in the history of the art form.

When NYCB dancer Justin Peck begins to emerge as a promising young choreographer, he is commissioned to create a new ballet for the company’s 2013 winter season, but he only has two months to complete the task.

All tickets cost $15. Tickets may be purchased online at www.thepalacedanbury.com, by telephone at 203-794-9944 from 1-5 p.m. daily or at the box office starting one hour before showtime.

The Palace Danbury is at 165 Main St.
