New American History Lecture Series Comes To Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Keeler Tavern Museum has announced a new spring lecture series, on a wide range of American history topics, beginning Monday, April 11.

Currier & Ives -- Monday, April 11, 7 p.m. -- $5 for members, $10 for non-members -- Come enjoy an in-depth look at the beautiful work of Currier & Ives, with KTM President Joel Third.

Colonial and Continental Glassware -- Sunday, April 17, 4 p.m. -- $5 for members, $10 for non-members -- Explore the history of glassware with fine examples of colonial and continental glass. Robert Schweitzer and members of the Southern Connecticut Antique Bottle & Glass Collectors Association will discuss pressed, free blown and molded glass techniques.
