Need To Read? Ridgefield Library Hosts Two Fall Book Sales

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — The Ridgefield Library will be abuzz with people coming out of the fall book sale with boxes and bags of items geared just for kids on Oct. 16, 17 and 18.

The sale will take place on the lower library level at 472 Main St., Ridgefield. 

The special Children's Book Sale begins at 10 a.m. Friday, with admission costing $10 until noon, or free for Friends members. 

It opens to the general public for free at noon Friday and remains open until 8 p.m. 

The sale continues form 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, when all items are half off. 

Buyers are urged to bring a bag. This is one of those sales that is just too good to miss, the library says.

Looking for a bigger selection of items for adults? The Ridgefield Library's Annual Fall Used Book Sale will run from Oct. 23 to 26 at the library.

On Monday, Oct. 26, the sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices are reduced to  $5 per bag — but bring your own bag!

A limited selections of children's books will also be available.
