RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Singer-songwriter Madeleine Peyroux will perform at the Ridgefield Playhouse at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Before performing to sold-out crowds throughout the world, the internationally acclaimed artist busked on the streets of Paris. Peyroux released her latest album, "Keep Me in Your Heart for a While," in 2014.
Peyroux will perform her versions of folk tunes and jazz standards such as Edith Piafs La Vie En Rose, Randy Newmans Guilty and Warren Zevons Keep Me In Your Heart in a trio configuration of voice, guitar and bass.
The concert is part of the No. 109 Cheese & Wine Evening of Art, Wine and Jazz Series with media sponsor WFUV 90.7-FM. No. 109 Cheese & Wine will host a complimentary wine tasting at a reception in the theater lobby at 7:15 p.m.
Attendees can also get a free glass of wine with dinner at Piccolos Jazzeria when presenting their tickets.
