Mac Donald Pin-Dancers Celebrate 42 Years In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. - The Mac Donald Pin-Dancers of Ridgefield is holding events to celebrate its 42nd anniversary as it continues to teach dance at the Ridgefield Rec Center.

The MacDonald Pin-Dancers will hold a series of dance camps at the Ridgefield Rec Center throughout the summer.

The group will hold a “Time Warp” dance recital on Saturday, June 6, at 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 7, at 1:30 p.m. in the Ridgefield High School Auditorium. More than 250 dancers from the group will perform.

Dancers range in age from 3 to 75, covering various styles such as ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and lyrical dance.

Tickets are $15, available at the door.

The Pin-Dancers will hold camps for children throughout the summer as well.

Children ages 4 to 6 are welcome to join the I Love Dance camp from June 22 to 26. On the same dates, the Magic Of Broadway camp will be held for seventh- through 10th-graders. A version of the camp for second- through sixth-graders will run from July 6 to 10.
