Grateful Dead's Final Concert To Be Simulcast At Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The concert "Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead" will be simulcast in high-definition at 8 p.m. Friday at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

The concert is expected to be the largest syndication of a live concert in music history, according to a press release. The sold-out concert at Soldier Field will feature reunited Grateful Dead members Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir joined by special guests Trey Anastasio, Jeff Chimenti and Bruce Hornsby performing two sets, according to a press release.

After-market ticket prices to the farewell concerts have surged to thousands of dollars. Tickets for the simulcast at Ridgefield Playhouse are $15 and are available by visiting or calling the box office at (203) 438-5795.
