Scaggs and his band will take the stage at 8 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Ridgefield Playhouse, 80 E. Ridge Road.
The former Steve Miller guitarist has carved out a 52-year, 21-album career performing with a variety of world-renowned rock and R&B artists from Duane Allman to Bonnie Raitt. Scaggs rose to prominence with hits such as “Lowdown,” “Lido Shuffle” and “We’re All Alone.” The Grammy Award-winner’s summer’s tour is aimed at promoting his new album “A Fool to Care.”
