DANBURY, Conn. --A knitting guru will share her secrets at a Danbury knit party on Saturday.
Xoli Ngcoza of Handknit by Xoli will run a class to the backdrop of music from noon to 2 p.m. at the Workspace Collective
Participants pay $35, which includes all materials. Everyone leaves with a knitted hat.
The South African native started knitting after working with a client who had Alzheimer's.
Aside from teaching knitting, she is a doula and a DJ. She draws on her passion for farming, gardening, cooking and yoga in all her pursuits.
