RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Founders Hall in Ridgefield is making plans for a festive evening of wine, cheese and shopping this fall in the name of charity.

The organization will host Wine, Cheese and Accessories: A Ladies’ Night Out beginning at 6 p.m. on Oct. 7 at Founders Hall, 193 Danbury Rd, Ridgefield.

Sponsored by Union Savings Bank, The Greens at Cannondale/Wilton Meadows and Joanne and John Patrick, the evening’s boutique shopping will include jewelry, handbags, stationery, home décor and more.

Anyone with a home-based business that sells accessories on a cash-and-carry basis that would like to participate in the event is encouraged to call Lynda Gutman of Founders Hall at (203) 431-7000.

All proceeds support Founders Hall, a donor-supported center for senior citizen fitness, education and fun. More information on Founders Hall can be found online at founders-hall.org .
