RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Two educational children’s musicals are coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse.

“Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great” will be performed on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. It tells the story of how 10-year-old Sheila discovers self worth. It’s appropriate for children in grades 2 – 6.

“We the People,” presented by Theaterworks USA, will be performed on Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. It will take audiences on an educational journey exploring the three branches of government, the First Amendment, presidential elections and more, through a variety of musical styles including rock, rhythm-and-blues and hip-hop. It’s appropriate for children in grades 4-8. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling Michelle at the box office at 203-438-5795.
