Donavan Frankenreiter Brings Laid-Back Grooves To Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Hawaii-based surfer-songwriter Donavon Frankenreiter, known for his sunny melodies and laid-back rhythms, will bring his trademark mustache and ukulele back to The Ridgefield Playhouse at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

This will be the fourth time he has performed at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Frankenreiter will be debuting new music, as well as playing such hits as "Free," "Move By Yourself" and "Start Livin'."

Kicking the night off is singer-songwriter Christopher Robin, who has opened for, shared the stage or recorded with a long list of artists, including Clarence Clemons, Gregg Allman, Robert Cray, The Marshall Tucker Band, Shooter Jennings, Del McCoury, Peter Yarrow, Big and Rich, among others.

Before the show, visit 850 Degrees Wood Fired Pizza, 424 Main St., Ridgefield, for dinner and receive a free glass of draft beer with dinner when tickets are presented.

In the lobby before the show and during intermission, concertgoers will learn how Love Hope Strength saves lives one concert at a time through its national marrow donor registry.
