RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — The Ridgefield Playhouse will screen the 2013 documentary “The Anonymous People” on Friday, Sept. 26, at 8 p.m., followed by a discussion with director Greg Williams, who will share his own experiences with addiction.
“The Anonymous People” highlights the Addiction Recovery Advocacy Movement, which aims to find solutions to alcohol and drug addiction. According to a press release, 23.5 million Americans live in long-term recovery from alcohol and drug addiction.
The screening will be preceded by a silent auction at 6 p.m. and a live spoken word performance by Kinetic Effect of Michigan.
Tickets cost $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $15 for students. To purchase tickets, call the box office at 203-438-5795.
