Country Star Travis Tritt Gets Intimate At Ridgefield Playhouse

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Grammy Award winner Travis Tritt, known for songs such as "Foolish Pride," "Best of Intentions," and "It's a Great Day to Be Alive," is returning Thursday to The Ridgefield Playhouse for an intimate, acoustic performance.

Tritt, who has seven No.1 hits and 21 Top 10 hits, will share personal stories about his life, career and musical influences, as well as perform his top hits. 

Tritt’s music has been influenced by Southern rock, blues and gospel, all combining to create his unique country sound. 

The restaurant Ancient Mariner, 451 Main St., Ridgefield, will offer a free glass of house wine or draft beer with an entrée and proof of ticket.
