RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
The show, “Echoes of Sinatra,” features Steve Kazlauskas.
The evening begins with a Jack Daniels toast celebrating Sinatra's life.
There will be his favorite cocktails, martinis, dry Manhattans and Rob Roys available at the bar, and the entertainment will include Sinatra's songs, including “Come Fly with Me,” “Witchcraft,” “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Strangers in the Night,” “It Was a Very Good Year,” “That’s Life,” “Summer Wind,” “The Lady is A Tramp” and “New York, New York.”
In addition to contemporary and jazzy swing music, there will be insider stories tracing Sinatra's life and career through classic songs.
Kazlauskas was inspired to become a singer by corresponding directly with Sinatra by mail. He has performed throughout the country, capturing the sound, feel and expression of Sinatra while bringing his own interpretation to the music.
Joining Kazlauskas on stage is the Tony T Sextet. Tony Traina has been performing across the United States since the late 1970s. He has played on "Saturday Night Live," "The Late Show with David Letterman" and Broadway as well as studio session work.
