Broadway Star Linda Eder To Host Master Class In Danbury

DANBURY, Conn.-- Broadway star Linda Eder will conduct a Master Class on Vocal Performance at 1 p.m. Aug. 30 in Ives Concert Hall in White Hall on the Western Connecticut State University Midtown campus.

Eder will guide students through intensive vocal technique and discovering the natural voice in an informal, audit-style format.

Eder’s diverse repertoire spans Broadway, standards, pop, country and jazz. She starred as the tragic character Lucy in the Broadway musical “Jekyll & Hyde” by composer Frank Wildhorn and earned her a Drama Desk nomination.

Eder will perform at 7 p.m. the following evening at Ives Concert Park on the WCSU Westside campus. 

Tickets will be $100 for a VIP experience that includes a meet-and-greet, wine-and-cheese post-concert reception with Eder; $45 for adult general admission and $25 for student general admission.
