The workshop, taught by professional comedian Christine O’Leary, has been so popular it went into “double sessions.”

O'Leary, both teacher and coach of the workshop, is an award-winning professional comedienne, social worker, project manager, social media edito, and co-dependent social butterfly who wants everyone to be happy. Her off-the-cuff interactions and improv are the forte of her comedy, and storytelling is her crafted skill.

“These hysterical newborn comics had more guts than you did eight weeks ago when they signed up," O'Leary said. "Comedy is a way to tell the truth.”

For the audience, who will be treated to some funny stuff, bagels with schmears will be complimentary in the lobby before the show.

The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street.

For tickets ($12), call the box office at (203) 438-5795.
