American Craftsmen Show Will Be Held Under One Roof In Ridgefield

RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – The American Craftsmen Show in Ridgefield will be held at the Ridgefield Community Center at Lounsbury House from Nov. 7 through Nov. 9.

The hours are:

  • Friday, from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is $25 for a wine and cheese preview
  • Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Admission is $8
  • Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $8.

The event was previously called the "Gathering of Craftsmen" and was held in Wilton.

Due to the show's popularity and additional participants, organizers wanted to find a new venue where artists and craftsman could all be under one roof.

This event showcases 35 award-winning and nationally known artists and craftsmen offering their work for sale. Many of these creations are inspired by the traditions, methods and styles of the early American craftsmen.

Featured works will include: pottery, wood carvings, painted furniture, textiles, holiday folk art and much more. Spend some time chatting with your favorite artists and meet some new ones; all while enjoying wonderful home baked goods and refreshments in a relaxed and elegant environment.

Lounsbury House is at 316 Main St. in Ridgefield.

There will be a Wine and Cheese Preview on Friday evening, Nov. 7. Home baked treats and refreshments will be offered on Saturday and Sunday. All admission fees benefit the historic Lounsbury House.
