RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Shlomo Shai, an accordionist and pianist, singer, bandleader, composer and humorist, will be a musical guest at a music Shabbat at Congregation Shir Shalom in Ridgefield at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The event will feature the music of Israel.
Shai has an international repertoire of music, which includes Israeli, Klezmer, English pop, Yiddish and Ladino. He has appeared in Jewish/Israeli concerts, clubs, radio and TV throughout the United States, Canada and Israel.
