Ben is a retired Supt of Recreation and Park, Chappaqua, N.Y. He now has many part time jobs and is an active volunteer at Weir Farm National Historic Site, Appalachian Service Project, CERTS Emergency Preparedness Program, Play for Purpose Hockey Fund Raiser, Founder's Hall Senior Center, and the Old Timer's Athletic Club in Ridgefield. Ben is also an avid bicyclist, rower, skier, and plays on several hockey teams, in the 70 and over division. With his wife, Darla, he travels to third world countries to do humanitarian work.
