RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- In honor of its 30 anniversary, Reynolds & Rowella, a regional audit, tax and consulting firm in Ridgefield, is donating $6,000 to two charities: The Freedom Alliance and The Hole In The Wall Gang Camp.
Each of the charities will receive a total of $3,000.
The Freedom Alliance is an organization that supports military service members and their families through program activities. The organization serves military men and women who have recently returned from combat zones.
The donation from Reynolds & Rowella, will go toward the purchase of a track chair, a specialty wheelchair custom built to the needs of an individual service member to allow maximum flexibility.
The Hole In the Wall Gang Camp, founded by Westport actor Paul Newman, is an organization that serves ill children and their families in the Northeast. It is run by the Westport-based charity Newman's Own.
The camp provides an environment for kids ages 7 to 15 with an unique experience, free of charge. In the camp-like setting, children can get together to build strong ties with one another and still enjoy a regular summer camp.
